Final National Round Table Highlights TeamWork2's Efforts to Combat Workplace Sexual Harassment

On Thursday, March 27, 2025, the House of Europe in Zagreb hosted the final national round table of the international project TeamWork2. This event convened institutional representatives, experts, media, and civil society to review the project's outcomes and discuss future steps. TeamWork2, implemented in Croatia, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, and Belgium, aims to enhance prevention and protection mechanisms against gender-based violence in the workplace.

In Croatia, the project was coordinated by the Center for New Initiatives, the Office of the Gender Equality Ombudswoman, and the CEE Gender Network. Key achievements include conducting numerous training sessions for workplace dignity officers and employees in various institutions, such as the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Croatian Employers' Association, HRT, the City of Zagreb, University of Zagreb, and the Academy of Dramatic Art. Additionally, a Help Desk was established within the Office of the Gender Equality Ombudswoman to provide legal and psychological support to victims.

We extend our gratitude to the media outlets that covered this significant event, particularly HRT, OTV, H-Alter, and Croatian Radio, for their role in raising awareness about the importance of protecting against sexual harassment in the workplace.
